New Website!!!

I have a new website now! I just got it up and running a few minutes ago! I am very excited because now I am able to do more things, such as providing links to files that are not on the internet.

What am I not excited about??? Well, that would be the design of the website. But at least it's up, right? I am still needing to research to find out how to create a website that actually represents me...but for now a plain old template will do. Hopefully I'll get it changed really quickly.

The address is www.getitpictureperfect.com. How easy is that?

Johnny, Jessica, and Family

I was so very excited to photograph the family of one of my dear friends, Jessica. They have 3 kids, so it was high energy and a lot of fun! What a beautiful family they have! Here are a few of the pictures...check out the link to "Recent Photo Shoots" to view many more!

Miss Riley Mae

I recently had my first "new" customer! It was a very young lady who just had her first birthday. This very delightful girl was so much fun to photograph! She was full of smiles, curiosity, and even hugs :)

Note: If you look to the side, you will see a new blog of mine called "Recent Photo Shoots." Until I determine who will do my webhosting and what type of software I want to use for online proofing, I will just blog it there. So be sure to check back to see if I have done any new sessions! Here are a few of my absolute favorites from Tuesday. Again, you can find many more pics on the blog listed on the sidebar under "Recent Photo Shoots." Oh, one more thing--these photos have been uploaded in low resolution, so they do not have the quality that the prints I make will have. And...the photos are copyright protected--please do not copy!

Take a look!

Couples Photos

Here are some pictures that I have taken in the past of couples.... Most of these are studio pictures. My husband did go ahead and set up the studio in our home today! I wasn't going to have him set it up, but then decided it would be a good idea to go ahead and get reacquainted with it--it has been 3 years! I am so excited! I will continue posting more, so keep checking back! Also, don't forget about our special...book by the 27th, and you get a photo session for $40...at a location of your choice.

Getting Started

Well, today marks my first blog about getting back into photography. I am staying at home this year, and want to pursue this love of mine--which will also provide me with an opportunity to tap into my creativity and earn some extra money. I must face the facts...I cannot just stay at home. I just can't.

As I begin this new adventure, I have many decisions to make...and I have decided to start small, and grow. I will create a website like I had before, but I want to do things a little differently...so I will have to learn a little more about my choices with webhosting and all of that. Things have changed, and there are more options now!

But I am dying to get started with sessions--so I need some clients!

To pull in new clients, I am going to offer a very low rate to start off. This offer will be good for all bookings made by September 27th. The session does not have to be this week--but you must have contacted me to reserve a date by the September 27th. Then I will likely go to my full prices...

So a regularly priced family photo session would be $70 (which includes an 8x10 portrait of your choice). The session will last about an hour, and there will be 20 proofs for you to view. You may do as many wardrobe changes as you like in that time. I overshoot, which means that you will have an abundance of pictures taken, but I will narrow it down to the best 20 shots. If you book this week, I will do the session for $40 (but this special will not include the 8x10).

Once you have viewed the proofs, you have 10 days to order prints and enlargements at half-price. After that, the prints will be available to you, but at full price only. Below is the price list of prints and enlargements at regular price.

4x6 $8.00
5x7 $12.00
8x10 $20.00
11x14 $45.00
16x20 $120.00
8 Wallets $20.00

Here are a few of my recent pictures. I will be uploading more a little at a time...including those from when I did this a few years ago. You'll notice, of course, that the recent ones will be my own children.
